September 2012 Activity Report


The month of September saw the arrival of Sofi Magnusson, a Swedish volunteer who did her work at the Missionaries of Charity taking care of children.

The month also saw the arrival of three (3) Swedish volunteers to work at the Mampong Babies Home. They are: • Fanny Johag • Sandra Faijermo • Andrea Jansson

There were series of meetings attended by staff of LIFOC.The first one was the GAC/FHI360 Global Fund Youth HIV prevention programme meeting at Angie Hill Hotel in Accra on the 28th of September, 2012.This was a close out meeting on the project and it was attended by the Executive Director, Yaw Otchere Baffour.

Also, there was another meeting organised on the 28th of September, 2012 on the Freedom of Information bill at Asawase Community Centre and this was attended by Philip Godwin Dabo.

The final one for the month of September was a four day workshop on Advocacy Training by NGO Coalition on Health at the Senator Hotel in Kumasi and was attended by the Executive Director, Yaw Otchere Baffour.
